The Broken Pieces: The Sea Angel IV

Emptiness......a vast open space
So wide, it engulfs everything
So deep, it remains insatiable
Like an unconsolable child
An anger that refuses to dissipate
A plague to last forever?

The last time her voice echoed
His desperation knew no bounds
The gods had finally come calling
Poseidon with his three horned staff
A perfect storm fashioned for destruction
A moment he had always dreaded
His immortality making no difference
Ensuring death takes none of the pain away

This moment he foresaw in the past
His love he thus suffocated to avoid the eventual pain
An act of cowardice?
Judge not....for then he was only human
With immortality his errors he tried to reverse
But the future became the present too quickly
And destiny came calling regardless
His muse gone...
His heart torn...
His nights lonely

Once again, sitting on the bow of his ship
In the eerie darkness of a starless night
On nights like this she'll whisper sweet words to him
Caress his ego...
Calm his fears...
Heighten his passions

All that now is a distant memory
And darkness reigns where there was once fire
Emptiness....all that is left
Since the Sea Angel departed

The Broken Pieces: In Love with two Hearts II

Sitting by the fine sands of Galveston The mud rich gulf waters caressing his toes Utter silence....the crash of waves whispering to him A sudden peace....a sudden calm.... Existing in the middle of a storm
Separated from her for nearly five fortnights Images of her beauty now fading Memories of her immensity and depth growing thin Yet, she stirs in him a thirst so strong and insatiable
Evoking a choking embrace when he sees her Bringing himself in her immensity His thirst has him suckling on every waterhole Drowning himself in her essence His body and mind ignoring the risk of choking Concerning themselves only with the orgasmic finale
Perhaps he should stay forever Perhaps...with her lies all that he seeks But his heart yearns for another Known or unknown....it mattered not He wants more....and yet, he wants her In love with two hearts? The never ending tale of his life
